10 Month Old Still Fits In Her Graco Snugride 35 When Should I Switch Her?
She will 10 months on the 13th and she still fits in her graco snugride. i have her in a evenflo triumph right now but because its cold here and you can 't put then in there car seats with there jackets on i am thinking of switch her to the graco one just because i have her ready and in there before going out the van. what you mom do in this situation? she is 2 months away from being front facing and the evenflo one is put in the van with a folded blanket in the middle of the seat because the seat is so concave that other wise the nobs to tighten the straps would be pressed into the seat and i wouldn 't be able to tighten her straps. what seat would you use in this situation?well she will be turned front facing here, as here in saskachewan the law is only that you have to fallow the recommendation of the seat and she is already 25 lbs and the seat only rf to 30 ( and yes i know that on the eveflo sit it say that they changed the rf limit to 40 but the seat i have 30 so that is what i will trust!). and the reason i ask is because she does still fit in the graco snugride so i am thinking that in this weather it would be easyer for me to get her in seat in the house where its warm so that she does get as cold. and the other thing that bugs me is that the blanket i put in the middle of the seat between the carseat and the van seat could that not compress and make the seat usless? as it doesn 't quit fit in there right with out it. Hi there. does anyone have a bmw x5 and a graco snugride 35 infant car seat? any suggestions on whether to install it in the middle (seems wobbly) or behind the passenger side (seems to drastically limit how much you can back up the passenger seat) also, any tips on overall installation and what worked best? we currently have it behind the passenger side, but just seems like it limits the passenger and it still seems a bit wobbly. any help is greatly appreciated!i 'd like to add that i have an appt with the fire station on jan 19th, but we 're due on jan 25th, so we 're cutting it close and the fire dept does not have any earlier appts, so we 're trying to get it properly installed ourselves and if time permits have it checked at the fire stationother than installation, which i think we will get figured out, the size of the carseat seems huge for the x5. anyone else have the issue of not being able to move the passenger seat back much? We got a graco greer travel system for our baby shower, however we would like to purchase an additional base for our secondary vehicle. i can 't seem to find where to purchase just the base, but i 've seen that the graco snugride base looks very similar. can anyone help me where to find where i can buy just the base that will fit the carseat we already have? any advice is greatly appreciated.
